i need to brag on Austin for a bit.

when i got home on saturday from my last final,

i walked into the apartment and thought...

"it smells like Pine Sol in here."

while i was taking my final, Austin spent the morning cleaning the entire apartment.

and it looked beautiful and smelled like pine sol (my favorite smell).

Thank you, Austin!

on sunday, we tackled a small project we've been talking about for a while.

it's definitely coat weather here in Chicago.

here's our new and improved entry way stocked with coats, scarves, and shoes

(boots soon to come).

we are very limited on closet space in this apartment

so every bit of space has to become functional.

you can sit down on the bench and take off your shoes or

strap on your snow boots.

can't wait for that!

now we have to find something to cover up the breaker box on the wall!
