Marquette is Notre Dame's biggest rival in men's basketball. Today was the 110th meeting between the two schools (I didn't come up with that .... the announcer told us). The game had been sold out for months so we knew it was going to be a lot of fun. It is a small, intimate, old arena--only seats 11,000 people, but those 11,000 people made a lot of noise this afternoon helping the number 21 ranked ND team beat the number 16 ranked Marquette. There were a lot of great slam dunks and 3 point shots! aahhh, it was awesome! GO IRISH
