We LOVE Brad Paisley. If you have never seen him in concert, you are missing out, my friend! He puts on a great show. He's incredibly talented on the guitar, he's fun, he's patriotic, and he's cute! And we love his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley. We went to the concert with Aunt Cindy, Andi, and Hayley Booher, a sorority sister of mine and Andi's from Tech. We love her!
Jimmy Wayne opened the show and he was terrific. He got my vote for best vocals of the night. That man can sing! He did his own rendition of "Sarah" by Ray LaMontagne. Let me tell you, every woman in the audience had melted into a puddle of love. Dierks Bentley followed Jimmy Wayne and he was great, too. There was a girl that climbed up on stage and walked down "the cat walk" to Dierks like she was.....well, very "in to him." She was workin' it! Unfortunately, we found out later in his set that she was thrown out of the concert. I wonder if it was worth it....?
After Dierks, it was Brad's turn, and we just had the best time sitting on the lawn at the Cynthia Woods Pavilion and enjoying a fabulous show. Andi has better pictures than me, so I will try to get them from her.
